Congratulations to Portglenone Masonic Lodge No.450 (Although we’ve searched for the other 449 with no success) on their tremendous new extension.

Constructed originally as a school, funded by Erasmus Smith, the building is a striking example of early 19th century stonework combined with eye-catching red trim.

Keeping within the spirit of the original building, the masons opted for a flat grey stone wall, complimented beautifully by period sand and cement plaster, specially designed PVC windows and a chapel door.

  1. You have to admit the Gothic Stainless Steel Flue & the Spanish Colonial Revival Propane Gas Tank add a certain je ne sais quoi to the whole ensemble.
