Were you aware that the construction of ‘Phase 2’ of Smyth Crescent was delayed for over two years amid a highly charged courtroom battle?

No sooner was the opening stage of the development completed than the entire estate was designated as a ‘World Heritage Site’ as a fine example of a 17th century, white marble mausoleum.

Just when it appeared that all hope was lost, planners discovered that the matter was merely a clerical error and the special designation should actually have been awarded to the Taj Mahal.

The more observant amongst you will have noticed that Smyth Crescent is not essentially crescent shaped but assumed that name after the contractor’s initial suggestion; ‘Smyth Swastika’ was rejected.
